The jug and the water pipe

There was a jug under an open pipe of water, the jug is filled and the water is being wasted. While I was in the car waiting, looking at people walking by,
Male and females,
One is speaking Arabic,
Another is speaking Kurdish,
Someone is talking on the phone,
Some others walking alone,
More walking in pairs,
Some are walking fast,
Others are walking slowly,
Some wearing formal,
Others are wearing casual,
More are wearing traditional,
Some are wondering,
Some are conscious.
One is smiling.
The other is frown.
One of all those people grabbed my attention,
He was walking alone, wearing formal clothes, holding some papers in his hand; he suddenly stopped looking at this jug of water. He approached it trying to close the pipe, then stepped back turning to go, then again he turned looking at this jug, he noticed his try wasn't enough (the water is still going for waste) he tried again with the pipe till he closed it well, made sure of it. Then he left !! For his care about all of this, I thought this man owns the shop in front of this pipe; he was just one of those people walking by though. Just couldn't forget what I have seen and how I felt staring at this man trying badly to close the pipe of water.

Wanted to share this street story, and sadly; i couldn't take out my camera and take a picture for him, i was more curious to know what is he doing !!

And I wonder are there more people like him ??! considering what in the street as a very important issue for him ?!
